Hollywood: Dining

 

Feast at seven themed restaurants here in Hollywood:

  • Universal's Blockbuster Cafe (Quick Service): In this large restaurant near Revenge of the Mummy, guests can be immersed in their favorite films in many themed areas. This includes Jaws, Back to the Future, E.T., Jurassic Park, and King Kong. This restaurant serves American cuisine with chicken tenders, burgers, hot dogs, and more. Plus, as a reference to Jaws, seafood is also sold here.
  • Hollywood Hills Restaurant (Table Service): Near the theater for Lights, Camera, ACTION! is an elegant restaurant recreating the Golden Age of Hollywood. Here, guests can come in and feast on famous dishes like Cesar Salad, Brown Derby Rolls, and the like.
  • Mel's Drive-In (Quick Service): Inspired by George Lucas's 1973 film, American Graffiti, this 1950's-style restaurant sits in the border between Hollywood and London. Here, guests can come in and eat hamburgers, sandwiches, and other delicious foods while sitting in a nostalgic atmosphere from a bygone era.
  • Monster Munchies (Quick Service): Inspired by Universal's legacy of monster films (a lot of which were based off of European stories), guests can come into this theater to try a selection of unique foods, each with a creative twist. From Dracula's bloody steak to Mummy dogs, and even desserts like Frankenstein pudding, this has food so good that it's scary.
  • Minion Cafe (Quick Service): The Minions have built their own restaurant and are selling unusual food there. This includes banana split ice cream (with lots of bananas), burgers with goggles, and other food inspired by the films.
  • Bake My Day (Quick Service): Inspired by a bakery seen in Despicable Me 2, this is where guests can find a collection of Despicable delights. From Minion cupcakes to freeze ray popsicles, this is something to satisfy any sweet tooth.
  • Celebrity Diner (Table Service): Located between Transformers Metrobase and London is a Victorian-style restaurant themed to Hollywood icons. This even features British icons of that era such as Charlie Chaplin and Alfred Hitchcock. This is where guests can dine on authentic European fare from places like France, Germany, Italy, and Spain.

  Two magnificent restaurants are found in this area: Toadstool Cafe (Quick Service): In the Mushroom Kingdom is where guests can enter a toad house and eat some interesting food. This includes level cake, Donkey Kong banana splits, and other fun foods themed to the video games, as well as normal food as well. Peach's Dining Hall (Table Service): In Peach's castle, guests can have great food fit for a princess. This includes foreign foods from around the world, as well as European and American food to hit closer to home. As they eat here, they will sit in many rooms displaying paintings from Super Mario 64.

  Three distinct gift shops are here on Isla Nublar: Raptor Den: After making it through the Velocicoaster, guests come into this gift shop that's all about the raptors. Here is where guests can buy merchandise themed to the most famous dinosaurs of the franchise, as well as see photos taken of them during the hunt. Jurassic Souvenirs: For those who want the ultimate Jurassic Park or Jurassic World gift, this is the place to find it. Here, guests come into the store of the Discovery Center and find dinosaur toys, clothing, science kits, and more. They can also find photos of them taken on the Isla Nublar Expedition ride. Island Accessories: This store sells several tropical delights, such as sunglasses, hats, and bags. It's like a classic beach store, but with a Jurassic twist.

Super Nintendo World: Attractions

  24 - Yoshi's Journey Climb aboard a Yoshi for a scenic tour of Super Nintendo World. It's a great ride for the whole family! QUEUE: Guests enter the ride through the base of Mount Beanpole, a hill-like structure in the center of the land. As they go through, they will see notes on the wall, explaining that Captain Toad has gone missing. They then pass by Toadette, who will explain how Yoshis have volunteered to take them looking for him. As they ascend a stairway, guests head to the top of the mountain, where they board omnimover vehicles designed like Yoshis. RIDE EXPERIENCE: Guests can move their Yoshis to the left or the right, thus making it easier to see certain points of interest. The ride begins by crossing over a bridge and going past a piranha plant. After narrowly escaping it's Jaws, they pass under a konk-dor. They also move pass some vines, but go carefully around them. Then, they go through a cave where Captain Toad's starship, the Starshroom, has crashed...
