Transformers Metrobase: Attractions

7 - Transformers: Battle for the AllSpark
(Height: 40")
Get ready for the greatest battle you will ever ride, where the fate of all mankind rests in your hands! This ride's name is taken from the version in China, which is a more creative name than the American name of (The Ride: 3-D.)

QUEUE:
In the very back of the area is a large building, the main headquarters of N.E.S.T. Here, guests will see a giant Optimus Prime figure standing above the entrance. The queue begins down below him.

Going through the queue, guests see many artifacts relating to the Transformers. Most important is the AllSpark in a glass case. This small fragment is the source of life for Transformers, thus making it important to keep safe. Throughout the queue, guests will also see screens, where N.E.S.T. commanders welcome you.

PRE-SHOW:
Before long, guests enter a small room with big screens. Here, they are greeted by Autobots, but before they can talk about their training, they get an emergency call. Megatron is attacking the facility with his army of Decepticons, hoping to take the AllSpark. A secretary recommends running away, believing it's not worth wasting their new recruits for. However, the Autobots disagree and decide to send them into battle. After a battle speech from Optimus Prime, the guests leave the room.

Guests are paired with an Autobot named Evac, who serves as the ride vehicle. He is a little nervous since this is his first mission, but he agrees to take them. Here, guests board the vehicle and put on their 3-D glasses, which they take before entering the loading station.

RIDE EXPERIENCE:
The vehicles move towards the AllSpark, but before they can get it, a panther-like Decepticon named Ravage attacks it. Luckily, Bumblebee fends them off and gives the guests the AllSpark. Evac then ascends and sees Optimus and Megatron battling. They are backed into a corner by Grindor, but his arm is broken off by a train.

Soon, guests go up into the streets of Chicago, where the Transformers are battling. Suddenly, a Decepticon named Devastator starts sucking things out of a building. To protect the guests, Evac puts up a force field before they are eaten by Devastator. However, after the Decepticon "poops" them out, they are taken by Starscream, who smashes them through many buildings before crashing into an oil barrel.

As Megatron and Optimus continue fighting around a construction site, Starscream is chased away by N.E.S.T. helicopters. When Optimus gets in a tight spot, he orders Evac to help them. Guests respond by stabbing Megatron with the AllSpark. As he falls, Megatron grabs the vehicle and attempts to pull them down with him. Luckily, they are saved by Bumblebee. The Autobots thank the guests before going back down. They pass underneath Megatron's twisted remains before returning to the load station.

POST-RIDE:
After getting off the vehicle, guests dispose of their glasses and enter into a gift shop called the Supply Vault, which sells Transformers merchandise.

8 - Bumblebee Boogie
In this teacups-style ride, guests spin around Bumblebee, who is playing tunes for the guests to enjoy. As they spin, guests might hear great music, mainly from the 80's and 90's.

9 - Cybertron Racers
(Height: 48")
On the far right side of the area, guests find a dueling coaster, where red and purple coasters move around each other. Guests can choose to race on the Autobot or Decepticon coasters. Although they are nearly identical, there are a few differences. Autobots are on the left and Decepticons are on the right. The coaster features two inversions and several hills, including a "top hat."
