Isle of Berk: Attractions (Part 1)

10 - Dragon Racers
In the heart of the village of Berk are twin spinners, where guests ride wooden dragons. They can move them up and down, giving guests a (modest) feeling of flight.

11 - Little Dragon Carousel
On this merry-go-round, guests can ride dragons around. Here, guests can move in a circle and gently move up and down.

12 - How to Train Your Dragon: Flight Over Berk
(Height: 40")
Join Hiccup and the Dragon Riders on a harrowing flight through Berk. This ride, similar to Avatar Flight of Passage, would be the crown jewel of the area.

QUEUE:
Guests find the ride advertised near a large mountain. They go past the sign and then into some stables. As they go through the stables, they will see several pictures of dragons, a lot of which will be seen on the ride.

PRE-SHOW:
Once they are inside a large room, they will stand and wait while facing a balcony (which is really just a screen.) Soon enough, Hiccup will come on and welcome the guests. He announces why they are there: to learn how to ride dragons. They will be paired with Mightwings, small but mighty dragons that are enclosed in metal armor. They will also wear some "safety goggles" made by Gobber. Astrid then comes and informs them that Toothless is missing. Hiccup then dismisses the guests walking off to help Astrid look for him.

Guests are then led by cast members into many theaters, where they will place their belongings in a bin. They then put on their goggles and sit on a metal creature resembling a dragon, where the Mightwings are. During the ride, the vehicle breathes beneath them, making guests feel like they are riding actual dragons.

RIDE EXPERIENCE:
When the windows open, the dragons move out of the stables. They fly around some spires before heading towards the village. They are then caught up in a game of Dragon Racing, where Snotlout, Fishlegs, Ruffnut, and Tuffnut are competing against each other. However, the guests collect the sheep and score another point for Astrid, much to Snotlout's dismay.

The game is then interrupted when Hiccup and Astrid (both of which are riding Stormfly the Deadly Nadder), who inform them that Toothless is in trouble. The riders then fly over the village and into the forest. there, they find Toothless battling with a lightning-breathing dragon called a Skrill. The other riders distract the Skrill while Hiccup flies away with Toothless. They fly through a cave, but Fireworms appear and force them out into the ocean. They then encounter some Skuldrons, water-spitting dragons. After barely missing them, they are then caught in the song of a Deathsong. Luckily, Toothless and Hiccup free the dragons and the guests and steer them away.

The rest of the ride is more peaceful. They fly through the clouds before heading back to the village. There, the guests are greeted by the Vikings, who celebrate the triumphant return of the Dragon Riders. Hiccup thanks the guests for their help before leading them back to the stables.

POST-RIDE:
Guests grab their items and get rid of the goggles. From there, they walk down a hallway and end up in Dragon Traders, a gift shop.
