Isla Nublar: Attractions (Part 1)

20 - Jurassic World Velocicoaster
(Height: 51")
Join the hunt on this thrilling coaster that takes you around Isla Nublar, racing alongside the famous velociraptors.

QUEUE:
Located on the far left side of the island is the raptor paddock. Here is where guests enter the ride, seeing a statue of the four raptors: Blue, Delta, Echo, and Charlie. Also in the halls are pictures of the raptors and lifelike heads of them stuck in the walls, which shake and growl as guests pass.

As they head deeper into the queue, guests see a video from Claire Dearing. In an effort to add more thrills to Jurassic World, they have built a roller coaster in the velociraptor paddock. Owen Grady dislikes this idea, noting how aggressive the raptors are and that they shouldn't get the guests so close to them, but this is being done anyways. Guests then proceed into a locker room, where they store their belongings in a themed locker before going up to the main loading station.

RIDE EXPERIENCE:
After guests board the vehicle, it will move into the launch zone. Here, guests can see raptors on both sides of them. As soon as the raptors are released, the trains will launch and go up a hill, going upside down at the top. They careen around a rocky area, moving up and down before encountering Blue and Charlie. They then go upside down again before coming past Delta and Echo.

Then, they enter a second launch. This sends them out of the paddock and to the top of a large hill. This gives them a great view of the whole park, but they have to look quick, because shortly after, they plunge downwards. They then go through a stall inversion as they pass over the Jurassic World gate. They head through a mountainous area near Camp Jurassic, moving around before going back towards the paddock. This time, they go under the bridge, and as soon as they emerge on the other side, they do a barrel roll over the water. After that, they return to the loading area.

POST-RIDE:
Guests retrieve their belongings from the other side of the locker room and then proceed into the Raptor Den, a gift shop. Here, guests can buy velociraptor-themed merchandise and see photos that were taken of them on the ride.

21 - Camp Jurassic
In this jungle area, guests can explore a children's play area, a cave filled with amber, a dig site, and more as they embark on an adventure. They may even explore the mountain that the Velocicoaster goes around.
