Universal Studios London: An Overview

 

When guests first go into the park, they enter beneath the hotel and pass into an area recreating old Hollywood. Here, guests can discover some movie magic and see some of their favorite stories brought to life. Also here is a London area, which serves as a secret entrance to Diagon Alley.

When going up to the hub, guests can enter one of five "portals" and enter the realms of their favorite franchises. Going counterclockwise around the park, guests first enter into Transformers Metrobase, where guests are recruited by the Autobots to help protect the Earth against the Decepticons. Closeby is the Isle of Berk, a viking settlement where humans and dragons live in harmony. In the center of the five portals is the Hogsmeade area of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Guests can take the Hogwarts Express from one end of the park to the other, connecting the two parts of the land. Then, guests can head to Isla Nublar, home of dinosaurs, adventure, and a bit of science too. Last but not least is Super Nintendo World, where guests are immersed in the world of the Super Mario games.

  Three distinct gift shops are here on Isla Nublar: Raptor Den: After making it through the Velocicoaster, guests come into this gift shop that's all about the raptors. Here is where guests can buy merchandise themed to the most famous dinosaurs of the franchise, as well as see photos taken of them during the hunt. Jurassic Souvenirs: For those who want the ultimate Jurassic Park or Jurassic World gift, this is the place to find it. Here, guests come into the store of the Discovery Center and find dinosaur toys, clothing, science kits, and more. They can also find photos of them taken on the Isla Nublar Expedition ride. Island Accessories: This store sells several tropical delights, such as sunglasses, hats, and bags. It's like a classic beach store, but with a Jurassic twist.

Super Nintendo World: Attractions

  24 - Yoshi's Journey Climb aboard a Yoshi for a scenic tour of Super Nintendo World. It's a great ride for the whole family! QUEUE: Guests enter the ride through the base of Mount Beanpole, a hill-like structure in the center of the land. As they go through, they will see notes on the wall, explaining that Captain Toad has gone missing. They then pass by Toadette, who will explain how Yoshis have volunteered to take them looking for him. As they ascend a stairway, guests head to the top of the mountain, where they board omnimover vehicles designed like Yoshis. RIDE EXPERIENCE: Guests can move their Yoshis to the left or the right, thus making it easier to see certain points of interest. The ride begins by crossing over a bridge and going past a piranha plant. After narrowly escaping it's Jaws, they pass under a konk-dor. They also move pass some vines, but go carefully around them. Then, they go through a cave where Captain Toad's starship, the Starshroom, has crashed...
